Cyclist harrasment of car drivers

More shocking footage of how these militant bicycle people have declared war on our city.

Here we see video from a bicycle which is going down Cotham Hill to Whiteladies Gate, the posh name for the junction with Whiteladies Road, though as there is no gate here, Whiteladies-chaotic-junction would be better. At the zebra crossing the tax dodger stops at the island, gets off their bike and walks over the crossing.

That's exactly the kind of thing we hate: how suddenly someone can not only use our roads for free, but then, a moment later, hold up cars. Which raises an interesting question that isn't yet covered in the highway code: if someone riding a bicycle has no rights at all, when they get off the bicycle, do they acquire the rights of pedestrians, or do they stay as vermin?

Clearly the car turning off whiteladies road went for the second option: no rights, no need to give way to them on the crossing. Why shouldn't you cut them up? After all, you would at any other kind of junction.

And here is where things go wrong. Rather than just dive out the way, or gladly get run over, this tax-dodger pushes back. He stops with his bike in the way and starts harassing the driver. Oh yes, he's being sarcastic, "Thank you", but we know that the subversive is taking the piss.

This is the kind of thing we have to deal with every day! We can't even cut up someone on a zebra crossing without get harassed! This is what cycling city means to us, the tax payer: those tax-dodging pavement-walking lycra louts not only being in our way, but arguing.

Something has to be done.
