Whereas the Farm Pub will always stay on the path. And believe me, even if it gets all the way up to Gainsborough Square, there aren't any other pubs on that route that merit a visit. Not unless the path heads west into Montpelier and you have the Star and Garter and Cadbury House.SteveLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07654931341335136008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7803191245171285795.post-14907544166724425042009-06-16T09:08:00.168+01:002009-06-16T09:08:00.168+01:00How about The Watercress Line? -nodding reference ...How about The Watercress Line? -nodding reference to Hampshire railway of course, but they used to grow watercress here, didn't they?Dru Marlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03697874363783821382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7803191245171285795.post-60105891765203250502009-06-15T11:08:44.438+01:002009-06-15T11:08:44.438+01:00The village beyond the tunnel is called 'Ashle...The village beyond the tunnel is called 'Ashley Vale'. I always call it the B&Q Bikeway, since it's clearly been designed to get me to B&Q without encountering hills or motorised traffic.

It's a nice path but will become much more useful when they connect it up to the north of the city (Bristol Parkway, Bradley Stoke, Aztec West etc).Thomas Guesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02580565535415520215noreply@blogger.com
