Beware of Cyclists and Pedestrians

Part of the 20M pound cycling city funding is going in to new safety signs to warn of cyclists and pedestrians.

Here we see the first batch being rolled out on the Bristol to Bath railway path

Warning the cyclists and pedestrians

That there may be other cyclists and pedestrians

Using the path.

Just in case they were not aware of that fact already.

  1. Lovely, but missing a close up of the Beware Of Pedestrians notice, which was the one that made me laugh the most.

I'm waiting for one saying "Beware of Cars" or better, "Beware of 4x4s" at the junctions between cycle paths and roads....

  2. They have a good warning in San Francisco where the Panhandle bike pathway intersects a major junction:

    "death monsters ahead"
