The Stokes Croft Parking Area

Stokes Croft has a special parking area for the people visiting and using facilities in the People's Republic. To discourage bicycles from using this area, it is painted in red. To discourage commuters from using it, it has double yellow lines.

The users of the parking area know that these parking rules will not be enforced, and that they can park there. It's a little secret for those in the know.
And how do they know this? Well, if you weren't allowed to park in this area, you'd expect the police to enforce the rules

Instead of parking there themselves.

(thanks to Terry M. for grabbing snaps of the blue nissa FY02CVS and police van WX03NZA. Remember, we like contributions, as long as they are entertaining enough)
