View from the Top... deck of the No.49


Fascinating driver habits can be observed from the top deck of buses. Here we can see someone who barged into the bus lane ahead of the bus, casually ignoring two No Left Turn signs in their hurry to get to Morrisons, presumably for the weekly shop. Obviously, shopping is more important than any pedestrian unlucky enough to be crossing the left road at the time.

    'Tis a stupid place for a no left turn - I'm not surprised people ignore it TBH. The alternative is to take a 2 mile detour or squeeze down a tiny residential side street. Out of the three options flouting the no left turn sign seems the most sensible to me.

    It's no left turn as there is a pedestrian crossing which is at this point in the cycle showing a little green man...
