Signs of Recovery

We posted a while ago about the Emergency Services, and we're pleased to be able to report that the Manor Park emergency service has now acquired a second vehicle.

The addition of M758XWS to this essential 24 hour service must be a good indicator that the economic recovery is well underway.

Trouble in the Centre

Proof, if needed, that pavement parking can be risky.

Luckily, the emergency services were on hand to rescue the police.

Apparently there are others.

Emergency Parking

This was caught on the way to school this morning: a vehicle doing some emergency parking on the downs.

Vehicle access to the downs is always a bit controversial; they ban bikes, let the zoo is allowed to take over a large area on summer weekends and charge a fee for parking on it.

Here we see something that should be allowed to use the downs as a parking area, as the alternative -Redland- could be fairly destructive all round.

I wonder how scary it was for the passengers...
