Cars wanted for cash

Contributor "A" posts in this picture of Autoclick on Church Road, who try hard to get the attention of passers by through the combination of a solid steel gate and a sign.

You might think that a sign positioned in the middle of the pavement would catch the eye of pedestrians more than cars, but
1. people who are walking may have a car at home, and are clearly positioned to sell their car off.
2. The sight of a pedestrian crashing into the gate and sign will attract the attention of passing vehicles. These people may see the sign and later, when they wish to sell a car off, return to this showroom.
