With even the Evening Post reporting the success of Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride, I thought I'd pop down in the Hummer to see what all the fuss was about:
Only to be confronted with health and safety warnings and what seemed like millions of pedal-pushing anti-establishment types, cycling around, getting in my way.
The warnings were completely justified. What a racket those bands made, especially Smerin's Anti-Social Club. Doctor Who theme tune? Is Nothing Sacred?

I like the EP's description of "hoards of riders". Would this be the money the government gave BCC to spend on us, I wonder?
